SPIE 2011 Best Paper Award
Description
To recognize excellence in a watermarking, steganography or data hiding paper.
Prize
A commemorative award, an announcement to the watermarking steganography, and data hiding community, and special recognition in the conference proceedings.
Eligibility
The authors of a watermarking paper which satisfies these requirements:
- The paper must be presented at the Media Watermarking, Security, and Forensics XIII at SPIE 2011
- The final manuscript of the paper must be received by the conference chair by Jan 31, 2011 after the conference
- None of the paper's authors can be a member of the Best Paper Award Selection Committee
Basis for Judging
Originality, creativity, clarity and potential impact on the field of watermarking, steganography, and data hiding.

Special event at the Media Watermarking, Security, and Forensics XIII conference.
Nomination Procedure for Accepted Papers
The chair of each watermarking session at SPIE'11's Media Watermarking, Security, and Forensics XIII conference is requested to nominate excellent papers from his/her session. The Best Paper Selection Committee will review these papers and select the winning papers. The author(s) will be informed and his (her) presence will be requested at the next annual meeting of the conference of the Media Watermarking, Security, and Forensics XIV conference where the award is going to be presented. The nominated papers for the award will be publicized in this year's proceedings of the conference. The award-winning papers will be publicized in next year's proceedings of the conference.
