BooXtream
BooXtream is a watermarking and personalisation service for ebooks, developed by Icontact from The Netherlands. Icontact develops tailor made software for publishers, libraries, booksellers and national organisations in the book trade in the Netherlands and Belgium. Under the brand name BooXtream, Icontact is offering ebook watermarking and personalisation solutions for publishers, digital distributors and web shops.

BooXtream for ePub was introduced in 2010 and was the first dedicated web service based watermarking solution for ePub ebooks. BooXtream adds both visible, personalized information and invisible, redundant watermarks to an ebook. One of the visible features is a personalised ex libris (bookplate). The ebooks watermarked with BooXtream are 100% compatible with the ePub2 and ePub3 standard. Watermarked ebooks can be read on any device or platform supporting these standards, no additional software is required for the end user.

ISAN
The International Standard Audiovisual Number (ISAN) is managed and run by ISAN-IA (ISAN International Agency), a non-profit organization, based in Geneva and founded in 2003 by AGICOA, CISAC and FIAPF. As a service organization, its mission is to implement ISAN throughout the world by providing and maintaining the ISAN system, appointing and supporting the network of Registration Agencies, and promoting their activities to the audiovisual industry. ISAN is a voluntary numbering system to identify any kind of audiovisual works throughout their entire lifecycle from conception, production, distribution, and consumption. ISAN is recommended or required as the audiovisual identifier of choice for producers, studios, broadcasters, Internet media providers, and videogame publishers who need to encode, track, and distribute video in a variety of formats.
